In the case where the photoreceptor 18 is rotated for a prescribed time or longer when images are not formed, a prescribed amount of toner is forcibly discharged onto the surface of the photoreceptor drum 18 from developing rollers 26 to 29 uniformly in the direction of the rotation shaft. In the case where the rotation of the photoreceptor drum 18 is stopped for a prescribed time or longer when images are not formed, toner is not forcibly discharged from the developing rollers 26 to 29.
