To provide an image forming apparatus which can prevent an operation noise of an air cleaner disposed therein from becoming large, then, maintain good environment state in the vicinity of the apparatus, and also, can suppress an increase in power consumption of the air cleaner.
The image forming apparatus 100 includes the air cleaner 71 including a louver 714 configured to control the flow of the air which is sent from a blowing fan 711 and blown from a blow-off part 715. The louver 714 includes a pair of blades 714a and 714b, and the blow-off port 714c is formed by oppositely disposing the blades 714a and 714b at an interval, and also, the leading end parts 714a1 and 714b1 facing each other of the blades 714a and 714b are made rotatable in the same direction, and the image forming apparatus includes a control part 74 configured to change the opening width of the blow-off port 714c by displacing the leading end parts 714al and 714bl.
