Abstract:
To effectively remove a waste liquid attached to a wiper member for wiping a nozzle surface in a vertical direction.
The wiper member 93 wipes the nozzle surface 124 of a recording head 24 from an upper side toward a lower side in the height direction, is restored by elasticity when removing a lower end of the nozzle surface 124 and blows off wiped waste ink 301 toward obliquely downward from the nozzle surface. A receiving member 390 for receiving the wiped waste ink 301 blown off from the wiper member 93 is arranged lower than the recoding head 24 in a direction along the nozzle surface 124.
