Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that suppresses a decline of an oblique feeding force of a sheet by an obliquely feeding roller, in a configuration in which a curved portion is formed on a conveyance upstream side of the obliquely feeding roller in a re-conveyance path.SOLUTION: In an image forming apparatus 1, a CPU 81 executes: first processing of controlling a peripheral speed of obliquely feeding rollers 621, 622 so as to be a second peripheral speed which is slower than a first peripheral speed of intermediate discharge rollers 431, 432 when it is determined that a sheet S is nipped by the intermediate discharge rollers 431, 432 and the obliquely feeding rollers 621, 622, using a detection result of a sheet sensor 44 stored in a memory 82; and second processing of controlling the peripheral speed of the obliquely feeding rollers 621, 622 so as to be a third peripheral speed which is faster than the second peripheral speed when it is determined that the sheet S passes through the intermediate discharge rollers 431, 432 and is nipped by the obliquely feeding rollers 621, 622.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
