To prevent toner offset during continuous printing without reducing image quality and energy-saving properties.SOLUTION: A printer comprises: a fixing device that includes a rotatable cylindrical heating roller, a pressure roller forming a pressure area with the heating roller through which a sheet is sandwiched and conveyed, and a main heater and a sub heater heating the heating roller, and that fixes a toner to the sheet; and a control unit that increases the temperature of the heating roller as the amount of fixing processing increases when the fixing device continuously performs the fixing processing on a plurality of sheets.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
