Abstract:
To efficiently record log data of operation states.SOLUTION: A multi-functional printer 1 comprises: a storage unit 21 that has a log data recording area (recording unit); a log data processing unit 25 that stores, in the log data recording area, a plurality of types of log data respectively indicating a plurality of types of operation states of the multi-functional printer 1; a regional information setting unit 23 that sets regional information indicating an operating region of the multi-functional printer 1; and an operating region determination unit 24 that determines the operating region of the multi-functional printer 1 based on the regional information. The log data processing unit 25 sets in advance the relationship between the operating region and the importance of the plurality of types of operation states, and adds the importance to the log data corresponding to the operation states and stores the resulting log data in the log data recording area of the storage unit 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
