Abstract:
To provide an image forming apparatus that can manufacture wrapping paper designed for a large-sized object.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus of an embodiment has recording medium size receiving means, object-to-be-wrapped size receiving means, wrapping medium size extraction means, and image creation means. The recording medium size receiving means receives input of information on the size of a recording medium. The object-to-be-wrapped size receiving means receives input of information on the size of an object to be wrapped. The wrapping medium size extraction means extracts information on the size of a wrapping medium in accordance with the input size information. When the input size of the recording medium is not suitable for the extracted size of the wrapping medium, the image creation means can create a plurality of second images, which include, in at least one image, an edge for glueing allowing a plurality of printed recording media to be connected to be one wrapping medium and include divided images obtained by dividing a first image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
