Abstract:
To solve the problem in which: due to stoppage of a motor after a control method for the motor is switched from vector control to constant current control, the distance between a rotation shaft of a first rotating body and a rotation shaft of a second rotating body may not be accurately adjusted; as a result of that, an image may not be appropriately formed on a recording medium.SOLUTION: A motor drives a conveying roller that conveys a recording medium and the drive of the motor is started through constant current control, and subsequently a control mode is switched from the constant current control to vector control. That is, the recording medium is conveyed by the conveying roller driven by the motor controlled through the vector control. A stepping motor 403 is controlled through the constant current control in a period from the start to stop.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
