Abstract:
To provide an image forming apparatus that can perform one or more pieces of post-processing after image formation on a sheet for which a user has forgotten to perform setting of the post-processing.SOLUTION: A post-processing unit 3 can execute a plurality of pieces of post-processing on a sheet on which an image forming unit 2 has formed an image. A setting unit 8 sets a first post-processing mode for performing one or more pieces of arbitrary post-processing of the plurality of pieces of post-processing on the sheet before ejection on which the image forming unit 2 has formed the image, and a second post-processing mode for performing one or more pieces of arbitrary post-processing of the plurality of pieces of post-processing on the sheet after ejection on which the image forming unit 2 has formed the image. When the setting unit 8 sets the first post-processing mode, a post-processing control unit 9 causes the post-processing unit 3 to perform the first post-processing mode after the image forming unit 2 performs an image forming operation, and when the setting unit 8 sets the second post-processing mode, causes the post-processing unit 3 to perform the second post-processing mode while the image forming operation performed by the image forming unit 2 is stopped.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
