Abstract:
To construct, without time and effort, a language usable in an image forming apparatus by using a group chat function in accordance with the language of a member in a group chat.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 10 of the present invention comprises: a chat construction unit 42 that starts up a group chat tool to construct a state allowing a group chat including the image forming apparatus 10 and a plurality of information processing apparatuses 30 as members; a language specification unit 23 that, when a communication unit 16 receives a message from the information processing apparatus 30 input to the group chat, specifies the language of the message; and a control unit 21 that, when the language specified by the language specification unit 23 is not installed, reads out language data indicating the specified language from a storage unit 19 and installs the specified language as a language usable in the image forming apparatus 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
