Abstract:

To provide an image forming device capable of dividing one bundle of paper sheets into groups without using a special sheet such as colored paper to be used for a slip sheet and a chapter sheet, an existing tab sheet, and a sheet to be formed into a tab sheet.

The image forming device has an index mode. In the index mode, chapter partitioning pages inside one bundle of paper sheet structured of a plurality of bundled paper sheets are set. In response to a determination whether each of paper sheets formed with images is a paper sheet corresponding to the chapter partitioning page or not, a cutter 801 cuts one corner of the paper sheet formed with an image. The paper sheet cut in one corner thereof partitions chapters of the one bundle of paper sheets.
