Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation apparatus capable of starting print processing promptly.SOLUTION: An MFP 101 as an image formation apparatus comprises a sheet feeding tray 201 and a printer controller 210. When a recording medium type flag indicating "FALSE" is stored in an HDD 112 and then printing is instructed to the printer controller 210 in a case where attachment/detachment of the sheet feeding tray 201 is detected, recording medium specification processing for specifying the type of a recording medium stored in the sheet feeding tray 201 is executed. When printing is instructed to the printer controller 210 and a recording medium type flag indicating "TRUE" is stored in the HDD 112 in a case where attachment/detachment of the sheet feeding tray 201 is not detected, the recording medium specification processing is not executed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
