Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact device equipped with a second delivery tray as well as a delivery tray having a double-side function and usually used.
SOLUTION: This image forming device capable of printing on both sides is provided with the delivery tray 10 on an upper part of a photoreceptor 4 and on an lower part of a scanner unit 17, a branch claw 8, a switch back roller 11 rotatable in normal and reverse directions, a reverse rotation sensor 12 for detecting a rear end of transfer paper, a passage for resupplying the switched back transfer paper to a transfer roller 5, all provided on a downstream side of a fixing roller 6, and the second delivery tray 18 provided on a downstream side of the switch back roller 11 and on an upper part of the delivery tray 10. When printing on both sides, the transfer paper of which single side is printed is carried by the switch back roller 11, a part of the transfer paper is carried on the second delivery tray 18, and the switch back roller 11 is rotated to the revere direction at detection of the rear end of the transfer paper and the paper is resupplied so that the double-side printing is performed.
