Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable correct detection of abnormality of an image on a transfer medium in additional printing and the like.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus includes: an image formation unit which forms an image on a transfer medium on the basis of a job; and a control unit which controls the image formation unit. The control unit includes an abnormality detection function of acquiring an image reading result obtained by reading an image of a transfer medium in which the image is formed by the image formation unit, comparing the image in the image reading result with the image by the printing image data of the job, and detecting the presence/absence of abnormality of the transfer medium on the basis of the comparison result, and determines that the image being the difference is different from an abnormal image when the image having the prescribed size or more exists as the difference in an image non-arrangement region on the transfer medium where the image formed by the printing image data does not exist at the abnormality detection.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
