Abstract:
To provide an image formation apparatus and image formation method which can reduce the time and effort of a user that occur when performing printing to a tab included in a sheet.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus includes: an image reading unit 7 which reads an image of a sheet conveyed along a conveyance path at a reading position on the upstream side in the conveyance direction of the sheet with respect to the image formation position in the conveyance path of the sheet passing through the image formation position; a tab detection unit 8 which detects a tab included in the sheet on the basis of the image of the sheet read at the reading position; and an image formation processing unit 91 which forms the image on the tab detected by the tab detection unit 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
