Abstract:
To provide an image forming apparatus that solves the trade-off between wear resistance of a photoconductor and image blur and allows print output with high image uniformity even when the apparatus performs a large amount of printing in an electrophotographic process.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises a photoconductor and means for supplying lubricant to the photoconductor. The photoconductor has a surface Vickers hardness of 31 Hv(2.45/5) or more and 870 Hv(2.45/5), and the surface free energy of the photoconductor and the surface free energy of the lubricant are 20 mJ/mor more and 78 mJ/mor less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
