Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the increase in the use region of a storage device following the registration of printing control information.SOLUTION: RAM 115 expands printing control information (font data and/or macro data) requested by printing data described in the page description language. An image processing unit 118 performs image processing to the printing data by using the printing control information expanded by the RAM 115. An interpreter unit 117 manages the number of times of use of the printing control information expanded by the RAM 115 and determines that the use frequency is high when the number of times of use is equal to or greater than the fixed number. A system control unit 121 transfers the printing control information whose use frequency is equal to or greater than the fixed number to an HDD 106 or SSD to store it.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
