Abstract:
To perform the position correction with the high accuracy by enabling correction of the position distortion generated in the sheet width direction.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus creates a document for correction by forming a reference image for position correction on a sheet (step S1), reads a sheet surface while conveying the document for correction by a conveyance reading unit (step S2), reads the sheet surface in the state where the document for correction is fixed by a fixation reading unit (step S3), calculates the correction value for the positional fluctuation by measuring the positional fluctuation of at least one of the shift, magnification, inclination and rotation in the entire document for correction on the basis of the position of the reference image detected from the fixation reading image data (step S4), calculates the correction value for the position distortion by measuring the position distortion in the sheet width direction of the document for correction on the basis of the position of the reference image detected from the conveyance reading image data (step S5), and reflects the correction value for the position distortion and the correction value for the positional fluctuation on the image formation (step S6).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
