Abstract:
To solve the problem that in a sheet cutting device on the downstream of an image formation apparatus, in cutting with no margin, deviation occurs in a relation between an image and a cutting position, and a margin results in remaining after cutting.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: image formation means for forming an image on a sheet; sheet cutting means for cutting the sheet formed with the image by the image formation means; detection means that is provided in a sheet conveyance path and detects the tip and the rear end of the conveyed sheet; and control means for controlling cutting timing of the sheet by the cutting means based on information detected by the detection means and previously set sheet margin amount information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
