Abstract:
To be able to save toner and to prevent a page from being duplicately printed, while executing automatic inspection, during recovery from an error.SOLUTION: An image forming device 1 comprises: an image forming part 14 that forms a plurality of images on a sheet on the basis of data constituted of the plurality of images; an inspecting part 16 that inspects the sheet on the basis of read-out images on the sheet formed by the image forming part 14 and a reference image; and a control part 10 that when the inspecting part 16 detects errors in some of the plurality of images formed on a first sheet and does not detect errors in the other images, makes the image forming part 14 bring the first image group in which errors are not detected into an unusable mode and re-form the second image group in which the errors have been detected on a second sheet, and makes the inspecting part 16 inspect the second image group on the second sheet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
