PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly re-record a read-out medium without resetting it and to prevent a third person from rerecording it by detecting and storing user's biological characteristics when a user performs a recording and re-recording operation, and recording outputting a read image that is stored in the recording operation only when collation results coincide with each other.
SOLUTION: A CPU 100 controls the whole system and in the user's copying operation, associates an image read by a scanner with finger information ID which corresponds to a finger information (biological characteristics) detected by a finger authenticating part 120, while page memory 112 stores them. A collating means collates the information ID that corresponds to the finger information detected by the part 120 which the information ID in the memory 112 in accordance with a user's recopy operation. A read-out image that corresponds to the coincident information ID is retrieved and read from the memory 112 on the condition that the collation results match and a printer part 105 records it on copying paper. Consequently, it is possible to get an image that is once read quickly, safely and with high reliability.
