Abstract:
To provide an image forming device capable of forming a image in a roll-shaped recording medium, and automatically cutting the roll-shaped recording medium at a prescribed position even after re-winding it without cutting it.
A mark 46 being a reference in cutting roll media 40 is formed in a part (margin) apart from picture areas 41a and 41b of the roll media 40. Then, a cutting-plane line 53b formed with the mark 46 as a reference is cut by a cutter. In this case, the mark 46 is positioned on a locus 51 on which a mark detecting sensor is moved.
