Abstract:
To provide an image forming device that can appropriately apply decoration powder to an image pattern.SOLUTION: An image forming device comprises: a powder holding part that holds decoration powder; a slide-rubbing part that side-rubs the decoration powder held on a surface of the powder holding part to remove an excess of the decoration powder held on the surface of the powder holding part; a powder applying part that applies the decoration powder remaining in the powder holding part slide-rubbed by the slide-rubbing part to an image patter on a recording medium; and an opposing member that is arranged oppositely to the powder applying part, makes a nip part formed together with the powder applying part grip the recording medium and applies the decoration powder on the surface of the powder applying part to a surface of the image pattern. The hardness of the surface of the powder applying part is lower than the hardness of the surface of the powder applying part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
