Abstract:
To provide an image forming apparatus that prevents a streak-like image defect.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: a photoreceptor that has an outermost surface layer containing polytetrafluoroethylene particles and a dispersant having fluorine atoms, wherein the content of a perfluorooctanoic acid is 25 ppb or less relative to the polytetrafluoroethylene particles; and an electrifying device that has a contact type electrifying member that electrifies the surface of the photoreceptor and a cleaning member that is in contact with the electrifying member to clean the electrifying member, wherein the cleaning member is a cleaning roll having, on the outermost surface layer, a foam elastic layer having a foam density of 60 kg/m3 or more and 90 kg/m3 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
