Abstract:
To provide a configuration that can obtain a more stable urging force when using a pulling coil spring.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus has: a pulling coil spring; and a moving member that has an acting part acting on an action target part and an engagement target part engaged with the pulling coil spring, and is moved by an urging force of the pulling coil spring to cause the acting part to act on the action target part. The pulling coil spring has a coil part and a hook part. The hook part has: a first extension part in which a wire extends from an end of the coil part in a first direction; a second extension part in which the wire extends in a second direction opposite to the first direction; and a connection part that connects the first extension part and the second extension part to each other and is engaged with the engagement target part. A leading end in the second direction of the second extension part is inserted into the coil part through an opening on a side of the first direction of the coil part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
