This image forming device forms an image from job information including image data, and information which indicates the content of the image formation from the image data. The image forming device is equipped with: a receiving section 13; a paper carrying section 11; an image forming section 17; and a notifying section 19. In this case, the receiving section 13 receives the job information in order from a plurality of requested parties such as servers 111 and 112. The paper carrying section 11 carries a continuous paper S which is fed from a paper feeding section 12, and discharges the paper from a paper discharging section 15. The image forming section 17 forms the image on the carried continuous paper S from the job information. The notifying section 19 notifies of the error the requested party of the job information for which the image has been forming, and the requested party of the job information for which the paper after the forming of the image has not been discharged from the paper discharging section 15 when the paper carrying section 11 and the image forming section 17 have stopped resulting from the occurrence of an error in the image formation to the continuous paper S.
