To provide an image forming device in a paper collecting system using a self-propelled paper collecting device for collecting paper while eliminating labor for a user to get the paper output from the image forming device, which a plurality of users use in common.
The image forming device comprises an image forming means for forming an image on image forming paper, a paper discharge part for discharging to a paper discharge tray the paper on which the image is formed by the image forming means, a detecting means for detecting the condition/status of itself regarding paper discharge, and a control means for transmitting a result detected by the detecting means to control the self-propelled paper collecting device to collect the paper from the paper discharge tray.
