To provide an image forming device that sufficiently cleans a printing head.

The image forming device (a dye-sublimation printer) is provided with a device body, to which an ink sheet cartridge 21 storing an ink sheet 27 is attachably/detachably mounted, the printing head 2 provided in the device body, and a platen roller 3 provided in the device body so as to be arranged oppositely to the printing head 2. The ink sheet 27 includes a cleaning part 27b for cleaning the printing head 2. A groove part 27k, which is extended in a direction of intersecting with a direction of winding the ink sheet 27, is provided on a face, facing the printing head 2, of the cleaning part 27b. The ink sheet 27 is wound in a state of sandwiching the cleaning part 27b, having the groove part, of the ink sheet 27 between the printing head 2 and the platen roller 3 so as to clean the printing head 2.
