This image forming device is provided with a carrying passage 20 for carrying paper P stored in a paper feeding tray 12 to a stacker 18 via the image forming part 14 and a carrying passage 22 for carrying the paper P stored in the paper feeding tray 12 to the stacker 18 without passing through the image forming part 14, and controls so as to carry the paper P stored in the paper feeding tray 12 to the carrying passage 20 when forming an image on the paper P and to carry the paper P stored in the paper feeding tray 12 to the carrying passage 22 when interleaving the paper P.
