Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation apparatus capable of preventing the disturbance of images caused by vibrations transmitted from a sheet processing unit to an image formation unit, without installing a special vibration control mechanism.SOLUTION: A printer controller 301, after executing image formation on a predetermined number of sheets, makes the next image formation wait and sends a first signal to a finisher controller 401 to permit sheet processing. Upon receiving the first signal, the finisher controller 401 starts a bookbinding process, and upon completing the bookbinding process, sends a second signal to the printer controller 301 to permit the next image formation. Upon receiving the second signal, the printer controller 301 terminates the wait and starts the next image formation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
