Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect disconnection of each thermistor without energization of a heater while suppressing the use number of AD conversion ports when installing the plurality of thermistors.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus comprises: a heating rotor; a heater; a plurality of thermistors; a sensor power supply; a resistor whose one end is connected to the sensor power supply; and a control circuit which includes an AD/output port that can be switched between an AD conversion port and an output port, and plural general purpose ports that can be switched to any of the input port and output port. The AD/output port is connected to the other end of the resistor. Each thermistor has one end connected in parallel with the junction between the AD/output port and resistor, and the other end of each thermistor is connected to another general purpose port. In disconnection detection, the AD/output port is set to the output port and each general purpose port is set to the input port, and it is determined that disconnection has occurred in the thermistor connected to the general purpose port having the input voltage level does not match the output level of the AD/output port.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
