Abstract:
To provide an image forming apparatus that can prevent a situation in which when printing needs to be performed on a number of recording materials, reducing throughput increases the time until the completion of output of all the designated recording materials.SOLUTION: When power from a commercial power supply is applied to an electrical load other than a fixing device so as not to exceed the power of the entire image forming apparatus, and if the power is increased, in a system subtracting the increment from a fuser turn-on power, when the fuser turn-on power falls below a predetermined value in a predetermined condition, the image forming apparatus does not energize a predetermined electric power load and turns on the fuser with the power not used for the energization.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
