Abstract:

To print a code image of a secondary bar code or the like on a side surface of a bundle of printing media such as papers, into an appropriate shape.SOLUTION: An image forming device 1, which prints a second bar code BC having images of a plurality of cells C combined with each other, on a side surface of a bundle of papers P loaded with the papers P, prints the second bar code BC on the side surface of the bundle of the papers P, when a size (a height Ch and a width Cw) of the cell C is equal to a value that can be divided by a thickness of the paper P, and changes the size of the cell C to a value that can be divided by the thickness of the paper P, when the size of the cell C is equal to a value that cannot be divided by the thickness of the paper P, and then prints the secondary bar code BC based on the changed size of the cell C, on the side surface of the bundle of the papers P.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
