Abstract:
PURPOSE: To facilitate the discrimination of individual sheet discharge even though sheets are selectively discharged into a plurality of sheet discharge parts.
CONSTITUTION: Detecting means detects the presence of sheets in a plurality of sheet discharge trays 4 to 6. Sheet discharge is carried out into empty sheet discharge trays 4 to 6 one by one in accordance with a detection output from the detecting means and a predetermined priority order, and the history of sheet discharge such as the order of sheet discharge for the sheet discharge trays 4 to 6 and the discharge time, and the number of discharged sheets are displayed on an LCD 15. Thereby it is possible to discriminate a sheet discharge tray individual for the user himself in accordance with the history of sheet discharge and the number of discharged sheets.
