Title:
IMAGE FORMING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3457897
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device adopting a belt transporting body that does not increase the torque and reduce the transporting force in a rotary member of the belt even if residual toner enter into a rear side of the belt, in the case of a mechanism making the residual toner to be shifted in a recovering container by the belt transporting body.
SOLUTION: This image forming device is constituted so as to include plural partition walls 45a formed on the endless belt 45 in the rotating direction of the belt, residual toner transporting chambers formed between respective parting walls for transporting the residual toner removed from a photoreceptor to the toner recovering container, and at least, two rotary members 43 and 46, for transporting the residual toner by rotationally extending the rotary members on the inside face of the belt 45, and moreover constituted so as to form projecting and recessing parts on the surfaced of the rotary members, and so as to let the endless belt rotate while letting the projecting parts rub the inner surface of the belt 45.
