Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an image forming device small-sized and low-priced.
SOLUTION: Image forming process units Pa and Pb each has a photosensitive body drum 1 where an electrostatic latent image is formed, a developing unit 4 which develops the electrostatic latent image formed on the photosensitive drum 1, an electrostatic discharger 5 which removes the residual potential of the photosensitive drum 1 after transfer, an electrostatic discharging light guide member 18a, b which are arranged while having its light reception surfaces facing the electrostatic discharger 5 and its light emission surfaces facing the surface of the photosensitive drum 1 and receiving electrostatic discharging light emitted by the electrostatic discharging light from the light reception surface to irradiate the surface of the photosensitive drum 1 from the light emission surface, and a transfer means 19a, b which are provided corresponding to the photosensitive drum 1 and transfers a toner image visualized on the photosensitive drum 1 to an endless intermediate transfer belt. Here, the image forming process units Pa and Pb are arranged in array in the rotating direction of the outer peripheral surface and the intermediate transfer belt 7 cyclically rotates.
