Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible for the image forming device with a transfer carrying device to prevent a cleaning blade for cleaning a transfer belt from curling, to eliminate cleaning failure and damage to the transfer belt, and to satisfactorily remove, even when toner-supply lines for preventing the blade from curling are formed on the transfer belt, toner on the belt with a relatively low pressure applied during ordinary cleaning.
SOLUTION: In the image forming device with the transfer carrying device, toner-supply lines are formed between sheets of paper on an image carrier in order to prevent the cleaning blade of the transfer carrying device from curling, and a means for transferring the lines to the transfer belt 17a is provided. The toner-supply lines are lines separated between the sheets of paper on the transfer belt 17a, oblique lines separated between the sheets of paper, lines of different thickness separated between the sheets of paper, or lines of different densities separated between the sheets of paper.
