Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device in which a sheet cassette loaded with sheets of a fixed size and a roll paper cassette loaded with rolled paper can be mounted exchangeably with each other.
SOLUTION: In the image forming device, the roll paper cassette loaded with rolled long paper and the sheet cassettes loaded with paper sheets of a fixed size are mounted exchangeably with each other. The image forming device has a paper feeding roller mounted in the main body of the device for feeding the rolled paper or the sheets of a fixed size stored in the cassettes into the inside of the main body of the device, a pair of carrier rollers mounted in the roll paper cassette for feeding the rolled paper in the roll paper cassette to the paper feeding roller, and a drive connecting means consisting of a drive source on the main body side for transmitting the drive to the carrier rollers and a drive transmitting part on the cassette side. The drive source of the drive connecting means doesn't make a motion when the sheet cassette is mounted.
