Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance operability for setting an operation mode at the time of imaging. SOLUTION: Basically, the content of various operation modes including the information of initial values in initial set mode, e.g. 'character', '100%', and the like, is displayed as an initial screen 58a for setting an operation mode at the time of imaging operation. For the function of an operation mode requiring no altering operation, e.g. 'type of document' and 'type of sheet', an initial screen 58b where deletion of display is set by a display cancelation setting means is displayed so that it can be removed from alterable objects. Since the content being displayed on the initial screen 58b is limited to functions having possibility of requiring altering operation, the content is simplified and the operation is facilitated even when alteration setting is required for the function of these operation modes.
