Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus having a process cartridge to be inserted/removed through an opening formed in a side plate, configured to prevent the process cartridge from coming off from a fixed position during distribution, while preventing reduction in usability.SOLUTION: A rotatable turning member is arranged at the front of an image forming apparatus, for a plurality of process cartridges arranged detachably from the image forming apparatus. A force to be applied forward to the process cartridges is converted to a perpendicular force. When the process cartridges are mounted, rotation of the turning member is regulated by a used toner collection container, thereby preventing each of the process cartridges from coming off from a fixed position during distribution, while preventing reduction in usability.
