Abstract:
To suppress a voltage drop due to a rush current, even when heat of a heating unit is deprived by a sheet and a heater is energized so that a temperature of the heating unit becomes a fixing temperature.SOLUTION: When receiving a print instruction, a control unit 100 can execute energization processing of controlling energization of a heater 31 so that a temperature of a heating unit 22 becomes a fixing temperature, and supply processing of supplying a sheet S with a sheet supply unit (pick-up roller 41). When receiving the print instruction and determining that the temperature of the heating unit 22 is higher than a first temperature equal to or higher than the fixing temperature and impedance of the heater 31 is equal to or less than a predetermined value, the control unit executes standby processing of standing by for the supply processing until the temperature of the heating unit 22 decreases to a second temperature equal to or lower than the fixing temperature while stopping energization of the heater 31, and after executing the standby processing, executes the energization processing and the supply processing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
