Abstract:
To provide a form of an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: an apparatus main body that has a control board; and a door that is supported by the apparatus main body movably between a closed position and an open position. The apparatus main body has a main body contact that is provided at a position opposite to the door located at the closed position. The door has a first contact and a second contact that is electrically connected with the first contact. The first contact is configured to be brought into contact with a unit contact when the door is located at the closed position to be electrically connected with the unit contact and is not brought into contact with the unit contact when the door is located at the open position to be exposed to the outside of the image forming apparatus. The second contact is configured to be brought into contact with the main body contact when the door is located at the closed position to be electrically connected with the main body contact and is not brought into contact with the main body contact when the door is located at the open position to be exposed to the outside of the image forming apparatus.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 26
