PURPOSE: To provide an image forming device in which the need for adjustment is eliminated and reductions in the number of components and the size of the device are achieved.

CONSTITUTION: The image forming device is equipped with a recording sheet (belt-like photoreceptor) 10, an LED head (exposure device) 50 arranged inside the recording sheet 10, and a developing device 40 arranged with the LED head 50 and recording sheet 10 inside, and it forms a toner image on the recording sheet 10. In the image forming device, the LED head 50 is obtained by providing a transparent support layer on an array of light emission elements, and also this transparent support layer is brought into contact with the recording sheet 10. This eliminates the need for a condenser lens, thus eliminating the need for adjustment and reducing the number of components and the size of the device.
