PURPOSE: To make maintenance and jamming processing easier in an image forming device than in the conventional image forming device of a type that an upper cover is opened and to make an entire device light in weight and small in size by providing a carrying guide in a carrying path leading to a final paper ejection part from a paper supply part integrally with an outside front cover so that they may put together.

CONSTITUTION: The outside front cover 11 is pivotally attached on the front side of a main body frame 10 so as to be freely opened/closed, and a paper ejection part 21 is provided between the leading edge of the front cover 11 and the frame 10. The paper supply part, a photoreceptor 19, a developing unit 18 and an optical write unit 26 are arranged in the main body frame, while a transfer roller or a transfer charger 31 and a fixing unit 32 are provided inside the front cover 11. Then, a rib 11c being the carrying guide in the carrying path 23 leading to the paper ejection part 21 from the paper supply part via the transfer roller or the transfer charger 31 and the fixing unit 32 is formed of resin integrally with the inner surface of the front cover 11.
