PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of isolating only a rear side paper or only a rear side paper turned inside out when the rear side paper coexists, or when the rear side paper turned inside out is mixed among the rear side papers, and preventing them from being recorded, and also capable of recording on the blank paper side by inversely feeding the rear side paper turned inside out depending on the state. SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with a rear side detecting part 3 detecting whether the recording paper being fed from feeding paper containing means 1 is the rear side paper or not, otherwise, detecting whether the rear side paper turned inside out, image formation controlling means 6 controlling so as not to execute the recording operation on the recording paper when the rear side paper detecting part is detected that the recording paper is the rear side paper or the rear side paper turned inside out, discharged paper containing means 9 and 10 provided with at least, two containing sections, discharge destination switching means 11 allowing the recording paper to be discharged on one hand of the containing section in the discharged paper containing means when the rear side paper detecting part detects that the recording paper is the rear side paper or the rear side paper turned inside out, and to be discharged to the one side containing section when it is not detected as the rear side paper or the rear side paper turned inside out.
