PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism with which a double-operation of a portable terminal and an image forming apparatus can be prevented.SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus for receiving a request concerning a control of a job from the portable terminal includes: reading control means for reading a reading object used for authentication; displaying means for displaying job information obtained by reading the job information by the reading control means; reception means for receiving the request for controlling the job from the portable terminal; lock means for locking the screen of the image forming apparatus in order to cause the portable terminal to perform an operation about the job and the image forming apparatus to limit an operation about the job in response to the reception of the request by the reception means; and transmission means for transmitting the job information to the portable terminal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
