To provide an electrophotographic image which prevents the character thickening and stripe irregular density liable to arise in the electrostatic latent image formed by an exposure means of a surface light emitting laser array and is high in speed, satisfactory in sharpness and an image forming apparatus, an image forming method, a process cartridge, and an organic photoreceptor.
The exposure means is equipped with the surface light emitting laser array having respectively longitudinally and transversely three or more laser beam emitting points as an exposure light source and has a mechanism to employ a multibeam system for forming the electrostatic latent image by scanning the laser beam light emitting points on the organic photoreceptor. The image forming apparatus is characterized in that the contact angle of the surface layer situated in a position furthest from the conductive support of the organic photoreceptor with water is ≥90° and a toner ≤8 pieces% in the content of toner particles of a grain size ≤0.7x(Dp50) and 0.1 to 2.0mass% (under 30°C and 80% RH) is included in a developing means.
