Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method which obtains pictures of less fogging and lessens pollution of a photoreceptor and an electrifying roll even when consecutively printing may pictures.
SOLUTION: The image forming method is provided with a photoreceptor 1, an electrifying means 2 for the surface of the photoreceptor, an electrostatic latent image information write means 3, an electrostatic latent image developing means 4, and a transfer means 5 and recovers remaining toner on the photoreceptor after a transfer process to use it also for development. In this image forming method, a developer is a two-component developer consisting of toner and carrier, and the toner contains a binding resin, a colorant, a release agent, and the half width at the endothermic peak of differential thermal analysis measurement (DSC) of the toner is 10°C or lower, and the electrifying means for electrifying the surface of the photoreceptor is an electrifying roll having a conductive elastic layer, and an average surface roughness (Rz) at 10 points of the electrifying roll is smaller than an average diameter D1 (μm) of the number of circle equivalent particles of toner in a circle equivalent diameter- roundness scattergram based on the number, which is measured by a flow type particle image measuring instrument.
