Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible heat sensitive color developing composition and a reversible heat sensitive recording medium, which keeps stable color developing properties and decolorizing properties and copes with high speed erasion and is especially excellent in resistance to thermal preservation, and provide the reversible heat sensitive recording medium, in which no striking mark develops even after its repetitive use or which has a favorable durability.
SOLUTION: In the reversible heat sensitive color developing composition utilizing a color developing reaction between an electron donating and colorable compound and an electron acceptable compound, the electron acceptable compound includes a compound represented by general formula (1).
