Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method with which a photoreceptor has sufficient cleanability even when a protective layer is worn away, regardless of the use of a lubricant to be applied to the photoreceptor.SOLUTION: An image forming method in an electrophotographic system of the present invention uses, for a protective layer, a polymer of a radical polymerizable composition containing a predetermined radical polymerizable monomer, metal oxide particles having a radical polymerizable functional group, and a perfluoropolyether compound having a radical polymerizable functional group. The image forming method uses, for toner, a toner containing metal oxide particles carried on the surface of a toner base particle and having a number average primary particle diameter within a range of 70 to 150 nm.SELECTED DRAWING: None
